Reminder Regarding Responding to the Commission
Tennessee Motor Vehicle Commission
Pursuant to Tenn. Code Ann. § 4-3-1306(d), you are receiving this notice because you have elected to receive notifications via email of certain changes or potential changes to the law applicable to your profession.
This serves as a reminder to licensees regarding Tenn. Comp. R. & Regs. 0960-01-.23. According to this rule, a licensed individual or entity or any individual or entity required to be licensed, or who is otherwise subject to regulation by the Commission, must respond in writing to any communication from the Commission requesting a response within thirty (30) days of the mailing of such communication to the last address furnished to the Commission by the licensee, unless otherwise granted an extension of time. Failure to comply with this rule will result in the assessment of a civil penalty for each separate violation in accordance with Tenn. Comp. R. & Regs. 0960-01-.13.
