The Tennessee Auctioneer Commission is conducting a rulemaking hearing on, Monday, May 19, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. CT. This rulemaking hearing will be held at the following address:
500 James Robertson Parkway Davy Crockett Tower, Conference Room 1-B Nashville, Tennessee 37243
The proposed rules amend certain general licensing and continuing education requirements resulting from the Department’s review as required by the General Assembly’s enactment of Tenn. Code Ann. § 4-5-213. Most of the rule amendments are clerical and do not impose any additional licensure standards. Specifically, the rule amendments simplify the examination provision and civil penalty schedule, clarify a portion of the continuing education withdrawal of program approval and reporting system requirements.
