The State Fire Marshal’s Office has acquired 8 billboard spots in Tennessee for advertising the Get Alarmed campaign. The billboards feature a unique “Lifesaver” image and encourage residents to use a new web-based request form to request a smoke alarm if they do not have one. Participating fire departments will periodically receive notification of residents in their response area that have requested an alarm so the request can then be fulfilled. If your department is near one of the 8 billboard locations listed below, you may soon be contacted by the State Fire Marshal’s Office with residents requesting smoke alarms.
The billboard locations are:
- Henderson County, off I-40 (Lexington exit)
- Clarksville, off Riverside Dr. and Jefferson St.
- Cumberland County, off I-40 (Crossville exit)
- Johnson City, off West Market St.
- Chattanooga, off I-24 (near I-75 junction)
- Memphis, off Frayser Blvd
- Memphis, off Florida St
- Memphis, off Winchester Rd
