Funeral Arrangements Set for Robert Watson
NASHVILLE – Funeral arrangements have been set for retired Bomb & Arson Special Agent Robert Watson who passed away Wednesday, June 24, 2015 after a long illness. He was 61.
Visitation services will be held from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday, June 28, 2015 at Kyker Funeral Homes in Sweetwater (113 W. North St., Sweetwater, Tenn. 37874). The funeral service follows at 7 p.m. in Kyker’s Chapel. Interment will be at 1 p.m. Monday, June 29, 2015. Lineup for the funeral procession begins at noon.
A resident of Sweetwater, Tenn., Robert Watson served 14 years in the Tennessee State Fire Marshal’s Office where he served as Special Agent for the East Tennessee region and worked as a K-9 handler. Respected by his peers for his hard work on fire scenes and his successful cases, Robert had a passion for the fire service and trained thousands of firefighters and arson investigators across Tennessee.
The State Fire Marshal’s Office extends its heartfelt sympathies to his family and friends.
