How we can assist?

The Tennessee State Fire Marshal’s Office wants to give our state’s fire service a head start on filling out your application. No more guessing what you primary protected area’s population or square mileage is. No more tallying up of your incidents to try to match the AFG grant application. FDTN now provides all of this information and more.

Getting started on your AFG application checklist!

If you already have your login info for FDTN, watch this video to see where to find your call volumes in the AFG format https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b42Jh3iqjyQ&feature=youtu.be then login to FDTN and start completing your AFG Application Checklist and be ready when the grant webportal opens for submissions on Monday, December 7, 2015 at 8am EST.

How do you get access to FD.TN?

Every fire chief in the state that is designated as the Assistant to the Commissioner should have received their login credentials for their recognized fire department when FD.TN went live on July 1, 2015. We only provided the fire chief designated as the Assistant to the Commissioner the usernames and passwords, but have stated the usernames and passwords are theirs to share within their own department.

If you are the Fire Chief/Assistant Commissioner of a recognized fire department in Tennessee and do not have your login information, please send an email to Fire.Department@tn.gov and provide the following items:

1.      Full Name

2.      Email address

3.      Telephone Number

4.      Fire Department Name

5.      Assistant to the Commissioner # (if available)

If you have any questions or encounter any significant problems that prevent you from logging in, please contact Greg Adams via email        greg.adams@tn.gov
