The State Fire Marshal's Office was notified this morning of the passing of retired Bomb & Arson Special Agent (SA) Robert Watson.

Robert was known for his hard work on fire scenes, his successful cases, and for his expertise in teaching fire investigators across the state. He served as a Special Agent in the East Tennessee Region for many years and lived in the Sweetwater, TN area. Robert recently retired and was battling a long term illness. Robert was truly a good man and mentor to many of us throughout our career. Please keep the Watson Family in your prayers.
