Notice of Public Rulemaking Hearing for the
Tennessee Department of Commerce and Insurance
Pursuant to Tenn. Code Ann. § 4-3-1306(d), you are receiving this notice because you have elected to receive notification by e-mail of certain changes or potential changes to the law applicable to your profession regulated by the Tennessee Department of Commerce and Insurance (“Department”).
The Department will be conducting a Rulemaking Hearing on Thursday, April 2, 2020 at 9:30 a.m. CST. This Rulemaking Hearing will be held at the following address:

The rules provide detail regarding access to public records held by the Department. Specifically, the rules explain the procedures for making a public records access request, responses to a public records request, inspection of records, and obtaining copies of records. Also, the fees and payments for public records are explained in these rules. Pursuant to the Uniform Administrative Procedures Act (T.C.A. § 4-5-201, et seq.), the above-referenced hearing is open to the public, and you may attend the hearing in person.
