Notice of Effective Date for New Rules for
Tennessee Motor Vehicle Commission
Pursuant to Tenn. Code Ann. § 4-3-1306(d), you are receiving this notice because you have elected to receive notification by e-mail of certain changes or potential changes to the law applicable to your profession.
The Tennessee Motor Vehicle Commission will vote on proposed rules at their regularly scheduled meeting on July 23, 2019. The amendment in Rule 0960-2-.06 will modify the Automotive Dismantlers and Recyclers Business Record Inspection requirements in order to be in compliance with a recent change to Tennessee Code Annotated § 55-5-108. The word “all” will be deleted and language to ensure compliance with state and federal law and regulation will be added.
