Notice of Proposed Rules for the Tennessee Board of Architectural and Engineering Examiners
Pursuant to Tenn. Code. Ann. § 4-3-1306(d), you are receiving this notice because you have elected to receive notification by e-mail of certain changes or potential changes to the law applicable to your profession.
The Tennessee Board of Architectural and Engineering Examiners adopted rules at the April 9, 2015 regularly scheduled meeting. These rules were filed with the Secretary of State on September 15, 2015 and will become effective ninety (90) days after their filing on December 13, 2015 without a hearing unless ten (10) persons affected by the rule, an association with at least that many members, a municipality, or a majority of any standing committee of the General Assembly requests a hearing. These rules included a general cleanup of language; exam procedure cleanup; they reduce the engineer intern application fee from fifty to fifteen dollars; and they change teaching experience requirements for professors.
