Notice of Proposed Rules for the Tennessee Board of Architectural and Engineering Examiners
Pursuant to Tenn. Code. Ann. § 4-3-1306(d), you are receiving this notice because you have elected to receive notification by e-mail of certain changes or potential changes to the law applicable to your profession.
The Tennessee Board of Architectural and Engineering Examiners considered new rules at its April 9, 2015 regularly scheduled meeting. These new rules were adopted in accordance and compliance with Tenn. Code Ann. § 4-3-1304(d), (e), and (f), and the General Assembly’s 2013 Public Chapter 122. These rules address licensing for certain qualified members of the military and military spouses. The current version of the rules is now available at http://www.tn.gov/sos/rules_filings/05-06-15.pdf. These rules will become effective on August 19, 2015 without a hearing unless twenty-five (25) persons affected by the rule, an association with at least that many members, a municipality, or a majority of any standing committee of the General Assembly requests a hearing.
