A representative from the Insurance Services Office (ISO) will teach a FREE 8-hour class on the ISO fire suppression rating schedule at the Tennessee Fire and Codes Academy on Wednesday, December 16. Seats are still available and pre-registration is required.

Course Description: Overview and practical application of the Insurance Services Office, Inc. (ISO) Fire Suppression Rating Schedule. This schedule reviews the major elements of a community’s fire-suppression system and develops a numerical grading called a Public Protection Classification (PPC). An ISO representative will present an overview of the schedule and discuss how the schedule is applied and scored in a community.
Attendance at this class can count towards the 12 hours of officer training required annually by ISO for fire officers under Section 580C2 of the grading schedule.
