Notice of Public Rulemaking Hearing: Tennessee Private Probation Services Council
Pursuant to Tenn. Code Ann. § 4-3-1306(d), you are receiving this notice because you have elected to receive notification by e-mail of certain changes or potential changes to the law applicable to your profession.
The Tennessee Private Probation Services Council (hereinafter “Council”) will be conducting a Rulemaking Hearing on Friday, November 7, 2025, at 10:15 a.m. This rulemaking hearing will be held at the following address:
500 James Robertson Parkway Davy Crockett Tower, Conference Room 1-B Nashville, TN 37243
The proposed rules amend the Council’s rules for its general provisions applicable to quarterly reports submitted to the council and the reduction of continuing education hours for employees of a private misdemeanor probation entity. Specifically, these amendments include an acknowledgement signature on the quarterly report form that the report has been provided to the court clerk as well as the reduction of employees annual in-service continuing education hours from twenty (20) hours down to eight (8) hours and to include two (2) hours of ethics training.
