NOTICE OF EFFECTIVE DATE OF AMENDED RULES FOR TENNESSEE ATHLETIC COMMISSION
The Tennessee Athletic Commission considered amendments to rules at a regularly scheduled meeting conducted on December 17, 2018. These rules were filed with the Secretary of State on September 25, 2019 and become effective on December 24, 2019. The rules set forth the types of materials that may be used for the ring surface and remove certain requirements for female contestants related to the weight of gloves and removes the requirement of female contestants to use pelvic and breast protectors.
