| 2014 Life Safety Achievement Award
The heroic efforts of your fire service team aren’t limited to rushing into burning buildings to save families. Your team members are also busy presenting educational information to local schools and other community groups to make sure people know how to respond to fires and how to prevent them in the first place.
The Life Safety Achievement Award established in 1994 was created to both honor and inspire our country’s fire departments in their fight to reduce fire fatalities through prevention education. Over the years, award recipients have developed and led many creative and effective prevention programs. Most important, they’ve saved lives.
The application period is now open for the national Life Safety Achievement Award to recognize you and the fire department for your efforts in 2014. Again this year, the application may be submitted online.
