| Greetings to all of our fire service partners across the state. We want to update you all on a few items:
1. Effective July 1, 2017 we will require a new form to be added to Acadis for testing at the Fire Fighter I level. This new form is for Verification of the State's Minimum Training Requirments found in T.C.A. 4-24-112. This form can be found and downloaded on our wed site at: http://www.tn.gov/assets/entities/commerce/attachments/FFC_Approved_FFI_Local_Verification_Form_2017.pdf
2. The next meeting of the Commission will be: Wednesday, September 13th, Business Meeting / Rule Making Hearing - 8:45 am - Eastern
All meetings will be held at Oak Ridge, TN located at Oak Ridge Chamber of Commerce 1400 Oak Ridge Turnpike, Oak Ridge, TN 37830 -
Anyone having business to bring before the commission shall send your request to our office at least two weeks prior to our business meeting on August 30th in order to be placed on the agenda.
In addition, the commission has set the fall meeting for November 29th in West Tennessee to be held at Memphis Fire Training, details to follow later.
3. Thanks to all that came to the Fire Commission 101 class at the Smoky Mountain Weekend, we plan to repeat this class in middle and west TN in the coming months and will send out updates when we have these dates and locations set.
