For those still planning on applying to obtain a license or certification before the rules change for 2015, you must have the applications into the Commission office no later than December 1, 2014. Don’t wait -- Now is the time. Office staff cannot guarantee appointments to have experience interviews and testing slots will be filling up at PSI as the end of the year approaches. Having a trainee credential does not mean you are “grandfathered” to old requirements after the New Year. As of January 1, 2015 everyone applying for a credential will be on the 2015 AQB requirements and subject to Tennessee applicable laws for compliance to upgrade a credential.
