Notice of Effective Date for Repeal of Rules

Burial Services; Debt Management; Locksmith Licensing; Private Protective Services
Pursuant to Tenn. Code Ann. § 4-3-1306(d), you are receiving this notice because you have elected to receive notification by e-mail of certain changes or potential changes to the law applicable to your profession.
The Department filed proposed rules to repeal multiple rules, including rule(s) related to the Burial Services Program, Debt Management Program, Locksmith Licensing Program, and Private Protective Services. The proposed rules were filed with the Secretary of State on September 23, 2024, and will be repealed effective December 22, 2024. The rules have been filed as proposed rules and will be repealed ninety (90) days from the filing date.
The following rules will be repealed:
1. Burial Services: 0780-05-09-.07 & 0780-05-09-.26
2. Debt Management Program: 0780-05-18-.17
3. Locksmith Licensing Program: 0780-05-13-.01 through 0780-05-13-.16
4. Private Protective Services: 0780-05-02-.24
