Tennessee State Board of Cosmetology and Barber Examiners Rules Update
Pursuant to 4-3-1306(d), you are receiving this notice because you have elected to receive notification by e-mail of certain changes or potential changes to the law applicable to your profession. These rules may impact you as a holder of a license with the Tennessee State Board of Cosmetology and Barber Examiners (“Board”). The following rules become effective on February 19, 2018. Highlights are as follows:
These rules identify the fees to obtain a residential barber registration as well as the components of the residential barber kit for barbers pursuant to Tenn. Code Ann. § 62-3-135. These rules also provide information to licensees about the application, renewal and expiration processes regarding those registrations.
