Notice of September 2014 Tennessee Board of Funeral Directors and Embalmers Rulemaking Hearing
Pursuant to Tenn. Code. Ann. § 4-3-1306(d), you are receiving this notice because you have elected to receive notification by e-mail of certain changes or potential changes to the law applicable to your profession. The Tennessee Board of Funeral Directors and Embalmers is convening a rulemaking hearing at its regularly scheduled meeting on September 9, 2014 in Conference Room 1-B of the Davy Crockett Tower, 500 James Robertson Parkway, Nashville, Tennessee 37243, at 10:00 AM, CDT. A copy of the proposed new rules is available for review on the website of the Secretary of State at http://state.tn.us/sos/rules_filings/07-12-14.pdf. The proposed new rules to be considered at the rulemaking hearing include new rules on removal services.
In compliance with the Tennessee Open Meetings Act, compiled at Tenn. Code Ann. § 8-44-101 et seq., the above-referenced rulemaking hearing is open to the public, and you may either attend the rulemaking hearing in person to offer comments or you may submit written comments which will be considered by the Board at the time of the rulemaking hearing.
