Notice of Rulemaking Hearing for New Rules of the Tennessee Department of Commerce and Insurance, Division of Regulatory Boards

The Tennessee Department of Commerce and Insurance, Division of Regulatory Boards is conducting a rulemaking hearing on Thursday, July 24, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. CT. This rulemaking hearing will be held at the following address:
500 James Robertson Parkway Davy Crockett Tower, Conference Room 1-B Nashville, Tennessee 37243
The proposed rules create the procedures and process for individuals affected by any matter or any individual who holds a license, certification, registration or like recognized designation issued by the Department of Commerce and Insurance (“Department”), Division of Regulatory Boards, that requests an advisory private letter rulings on a subject or matter under the program’s primary jurisdiction. The amendments detail how impacted individuals may request an advisory private letter ruling, as well as the process for how the programs are to review and issue the advisory private letter rulings.
