East Tennessee In-Service Peer Review Event Update
The Tennessee Firefighting Commission’s In-Service Peer Review-East Tennessee Event has been rescheduled due to the wildland fires occurring in East Tennessee. The event is now scheduled for:
- East Tennessee Event: December 15, 2016 at 9:00 am Eastern Time at Knoxville Fire Department (Knoxville Fire Department Training Academy, 3411 Vice Mayor Jack Sharp Rd., Knoxville, TN)
Thank you in advance for your understanding in re-scheduling this event date. Members of the Tennessee fire service, especially the East Tennessee fire service, are being put under tremendous stress right now to protect their communities. The Firefighting Commission understands and supports the first responders of Tennessee. Going forward, we will continually evaluate planned Peer Review events to determine if the scheduled dates are viable or need to be tweaked also.
As always, we appreciate the efforts of the Tennessee fire service and other first responders across Tennessee. Please keep our first responders and their families in your thoughts and prayers.
