Notification of Tennessee Task Force on Auction Law Modernization Meeting
Pursuant to T.C.A. § 4-3-1306(d), you are receiving this notice because you have elected to receive notification by e-mail of certain changes or potential changes to the law applicable to your profession.
As such, the Department would like to notify you of the upcoming meeting of the Tennessee Task Force on Auction Law Modernization, which was created by Public Chapter 0941 to conduct a comprehensive review of the auction laws of Tennessee, including the rules of the Tennessee Auctioneer Commission, and to recommend changes and updates to auctioneer licensing laws to recognize the broad range of business models of auctioneers, auction firms, and auction platforms. The first meeting of the Task Force will be held on Tuesday, June 19, 2018, at 9 a.m. Central Time in Room 1A of the Davy Crockett Tower, 500 James Robertson Parkway, Nashville, Tennessee 37243.
