| Come on Spring! It is cold outside, but training opportunities are picking up.
Time is running down to register for the return of "Horsepower Weekend" at TFACA. This 2 day event will highlight our new Emergency Driving Simulator! Presentations from industry leaders on aerial apparatus and electrical hazards, ISO discussions on apparatus training and NFPA 1911 standards for apparatus maintenance are only a few of the items to be discussed.
We often get questions "what happened to the Ole Mack Signature Fire Truck" which traveled the State to help the grassroots efforts to build TFACA. Join us for a tour of the Chief Garland King Museum in Shelbyville following the completion Saturday of "Horsepower" and you will get to see it again. Take some time to locate your signature on the truck and see other fire service apparatus in the collection. There will be no charge for touring just join us. We will leave from the campus around 12:30 to take the short drive to Shelbyville.

Need to pass your ICC Fire Inspector certification test? We have the class for you... our 2 day 2012 ICC Fire Inspector Certification Preparation. This class helps you undestand key areas of the code and how to quickly find the references you need to be help with your certification test. Class is scheduled for March 9-10 at TFACA
