July 1st we will start requiring a new form for testing at the Fire Fighter I Level. This form will be for T.C.A. 4-24-112 Minimum Training Requirements and will need to be completed and attached in Acadis prior to the written exam for Fire Fighter I. This form is located on our website under Certifcations Applications & Forms / Fire Fighter at FIRE FIGHTER I VERIFICATION FORM
The next Business Meeting / Rule Making Hearing will be September 13th, 2017 at 8:45 Eastern Time at the Oak Ridge Chamber of Commerce 1400 Oak Ridge Turn Pike, Oak Ridge, TN 37830. Meeting Notice September 2017 In addition, the Commisson has also set a meeting date for November 29th at the Memphis Fire Training Center in Memphis - more information to follow at a later date.
We will be posting a link on our website later this week for a East TN Fire Fighting Commission Coordinator's position. This will be a FULL TIME position (Monday - Friday) and requires certification at Fire Officer I and Instructor I. These certification MUST have been issued by the Tennessee Fire Commission or MUST have a IFSAC or PRO BOARD seals.
