| TFACA has opening in upcoming classes which may be of interest to many of you.
1. The often sold out Confined Space Rescue class starting July 11th has several openings available. If your schedule allows you to join us, please register ASAP.
2. Chief Training Officer Symposium August 4-5, 2016 at TFACA has openings available. We have a great list of topics and instructors, so we hope you will join us.
3. Fire Chief Orientation at Madison County Headquarters station August 8-9 has openings. If you are a new chief or inspire to become the Chief, this class is one you will need to complete.
4. Needing codes training or recertification hours? TFACA is offering 3 one day classes in Selmer, TN. July 27, 28 & 29. The classes include Introduction to the 2012 Mechanical Code; Introduction to the 2012 International Plumbing Code and Introduction to the 2012 International Fuel Gas Code. We hope to see you for 1 or more of these classes.
Stop by our booth at the TN Fire Chiefs Annual Conference. We always enjoy seeing and speaking with everyone. Each year at the Fire Chiefs conference we announce the TFACA Elite Club which is all departments with more than 1,000 training hours obtained through TFACA during fiscal year 15-16. This year we have a record number of departments in the Elite Club with more than 60 departments reaching the 1,000 hour threshold. Thanks to each department for allowing us to assist you in meeting your training needs! We look forward to announcing the entire list on Monday July 11th during the opening session.
