| Greetings from the Fire Commission, I hope you are about to enjoy the Thanksgiving Holiday season with family and friends and that you are blessed with safety in your travels. As we near the end of 2014 for those in our Educational Incentive Pay program we want to ensure you have the resources needed to submit your 2014 forms. As a result we have provided a presentation on our website at http://www.tn.gov/fire/commFireFighting.shtml the presentation titled “How to Submit Forms in Acadis” will explain which forms need to be mailed in and which forms need to be submitted in Acadis. In addition, the required forms are available for download as well and include the following:
In-Service Verification Sheet [Excel] – complete and upload in Acadis
Notarized Statement of Fire Chief – complete and send certified mail
Educational Incentive Request - complete and send certified mail

Next, we want to thank everyone for working with us in submitting their 2015 In-Service through Acadis. These submitted programs will be presented to the Commission at its next meeting December 18th in Brentwood for conditional approval, followed by the peer –review with dates to be announced. Our plan at this time is to conduct several peer-reviews across the state after the first of the year.
