On March 27, 2019, we emailed all licensees regarding a Notice of Rulemaking Hearing that the Massage Board authorized at its February 11, 2019 meeting, we informed you that the rulemaking hearing would be held on May 13, 2019, and we invited you to submit any comments you had regarding the proposed rule change to increase renewal fees. This email is to update you on the results of the rulemaking hearing.
At the May 13, 2019 Tennessee Massage Board Meeting, the Board voted to withdraw the proposed rule amendments. As a result, the rules will not be amended and renewal fees will not be increased. I have attached the link to the Monday May 13, 2019 Board meeting in case you would like to view it. Discussion regarding the rulemaking hearing was the first agenda item.
