Notice of Effective Date and Emergency Rules for the Tennessee Board of Architectural and Engineering Examiners
Pursuant to Tenn. Code. Ann. § 4-3-1306(d), you are receiving this notice because you have elected to receive notification by e-mail of certain changes or potential changes to the law applicable to your profession. The Tennessee Board of Architectural and Engineering Examiners adopted rules after a rulemaking hearing at its August 14, 2013 regularly scheduled meeting. These rules were filed with the Secretary of State on November 17, 2014 and became effective on May 1, 2015. These rules included a general cleanup of language; deleted transfer exam fees; repealed residency requirements; and changed references, continuing education, and exam requirements. The current version of the rules is now available at http://tn.gov/sos/rules/0120/0120.htm. One rule in this filing, Rule 0120-01-.06 [Applications- Engineer Intern], was stayed until October 28, 2015 through an Emergency Rule, which can be found on the Secretary of State’s website at http://state.tn.us/sos/rules_filings/04-28-15.pdf. The rule as it was written prior to this rulemaking hearing remains in effect at this time.
